| ADMISSION
PROCEDURE: |

(i)
| Application
Forms for admission Along with the prospectus of the college can be obtained from
the college office during working hours on payment of Rs. 20.00 (Rupees twenty)
only The forms duly filled in should be submitted to the college office enclosing
all required supporting documents on or before the date fixed for admission. Incomplete
forms are liable for outright rejection. | (ii)
| Selection
of candidates is made in accordance with the marks secured by them in the last
examination and admission is given on "first come first served" basis. | (iii)
| Candidates
desirous of opting for Major in any subject will have to apply for it to the Concerned
Head of the Department. | (iv)
| Reservation
of seats for admission is made as per the guidelines circulated by the University
Grants Commission, Dibrugarh University and Govt. of Assam from time to time. | (v)
| Candidates
selected for admission are required to produce the following documents in original
at the time of admission: | (a)
| Provisional
Pass Certificates and Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last
attended. |
|
The
Admit card of the last examination. Marks-sheet of the last examination. Along
with these documents candidates are required to submit two copies of recent passport
size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. |
|
| Re-admission
: |
|
1. | Any
student who fails to appear in or pass the Annual Council Examination in case
of a student prosecuting H.S. Course of study shall automatically forfeit his/her
seat in the college. Such students may apply afresh for re-admission into the
same class. His/her admission in that case will depend on availability of seats
in the class. TDC (Three-Year Degree Course) students who fail to pass the Annual
University Examination, on the other hand, are allowed to take admission into
the next higher class so as to continue their course of study uninterrupted, but
they will have to appear in the Annual University Examination of the lower class. | 2. | A
student who is expelled from the college examinations or examinations conducted
by the University/ Council, or expelled from the college for other reasons will
forfeit his/her seat in the college. Under no circumstances, such student is re-admitted. | 3. | A
student failing to appear in or pass the examinations conducted by the college
itself on a genuine ground may apply for re-admission into the same class for
the next academic session. But such re-admission is also subject to availability
of seats. |

| Free
Studentship : |
|
| The
college has a provision for awarding Free Studentship to the following categories
of students: |
|
1. | Meritorious
students. | 2. | Economically
disadvantaged but brilliant in study. | 3. | Physically
handicapped students. |
|
| In
order to avail himself/herself of these privileges, a student must apply to the
Principal immediately after getting admitted to the College. |
